Reading Intervention
Our direct and targeted literacy instruction is designed for students with challenges with their basic reading, reading fluency, and comprehension.
For students with basic reading challenges, we teach phonics, decoding, and word recognition, ensuring that students build a strong reading foundation.
Our reading fluency instruction focuses on pacing, intonation, and accuracy.
The reading comprehension instruction teaches students how to find evidence, analyze content, and make connections.
Our writing instruction provides targeted support in spelling, grammar, and structure. Through explicit instruction, we teach students how to organize and compose coherent written pieces. Whether students are working on simple sentences, paragraph-writing, or comprehensive essays, we teach students how to effectively communicate their thoughts and knowledge.
